A top Obama campaign official is being accused of lying over what she knew about the man at the center of a damning super PAC ad tying his wife’s death to Mitt Romney.
Deputy Campaign Manager Stephanie Cutter appeared on CNN Wednesday morning to say, among other things, that “I don’t know the facts” about the case of Joe Soptic, a steelworker who appeared in a controversial ad for the pro-Obama super-PAC Priorities USA. In the ad, Soptic, recounts how his wife died of cancer after he lost his health insurance when his plant was shuttered after a takeover by Bain Capital and other companies working with the private equity firm.
Cutter said she didn’t know when Soptic’s wife fell ill, or about his health insurance.

Team Obama didn’t just get caught lying, it’s pretty clear they coordinated the attack with Priorities USA. This is a violation of election laws, and it’s all on video!!!

Cutter wasn’t the only Obama campaign official caught up in the controversy.
“This is an ad by an entity that’s not controlled by campaign. I certainly don’t know the specifics of this man’s case,” campaign adviser Robert Gibbs said on MSNBC. Another Obama campaign spokeswoman separately told reporters that the campaign had no knowledge of the family involved.
And then here is Obama campaign spokeswoman Jen Psaki’s lie to Wolf Blitzer at CNN!
She denies working with Priorities USA at 1:40 mark, at the 2:17 mark she again states they had nothing to do with the ad. Again at the 2:50 mark. At the 3:04 mark she states that no one in the campaign was involved in making the ad. And she continues to lie throughout the video.

Well, no, no one is surprised, but the ease in which it demonstrates a violation of election laws is a bit surprising. I mean, we know they are intellectually crippled, but, are they that stupid? Apparently so.
Will anything happen? Who is going to investigate? Who is going to prosecute? The justice department? Holder? Is he going to be impeached?

I’ve noticed that liberals seem to be defending Obama a lot less. They are not joining any chorus of condemnation of Obama, but they are merely chosing to remain silent.

They know the MSM will not research the lies, but sometimes the Alternate media does find the truth and the MSM has an “accident of professionalism” that allows them to do their job and they report the truth. Obama did not say, at the the beginning or end of the ad, “I approve this message”. There can be no coordination with the super PACs that choose to put on these ads. Of course, no one believes that is happening (no coordination), which is a good reason to end this “super PAC” nonsense. Anyway, Romney denied that he knew about a negative ad about Newt Gingrich, in which Gingrich supposedly said “Spanish is the language of the Guetto”. But, at the end of the ad, Romney said in Spanish “I am Mitt Romney. I am running for president, and I approve this message”. Now who is the liar?

You are correct when you stated, “There can be no coordination with the super PACs that choose to put on these ads.”
Listening to the conference call, it is pretty clear that there was coordination. When we listen to the politicians, most of us do expect that we will be lied to. That’s one thing. Being caught on tape with all appearances of violating the law…. well that’s a bit different.
The ad was devastating, AND put out by the Romney campaign. Not a PAC. Her problem is she is now trying to claim it was put out by a PAC, yet every source, including the HuffPo (no conservative outfit there) states it was put out by the Campaign, and as hard as I google, I cannot find him saying he had no knowledge of it.
In the words of a truther “Now who is the liar?”
Sidebar: Kind of oxymoronic that the Obama Squads are called Truthers. They are anything but.
If he had said it, it would have been an open and shut case of coordination. He is barred by law from saying it. However, we do have the tape of Cutter coordinating the Ad back in April with Soptic. The law does not say you have to have the gun in your hand when arrested to be convicted of murder. Only that the evidence shows you had the gun when the crime is committed. The tape of Cutter is the evidence that shows the crime was committed.
As for ROmney, I do not recall him denying responsibility for the Ad on Gingrich, nor of reading that anyone but his campaign ran it. So unless you can source your allegations, the liar is you.
