Lol, Obama Is So Far Out Of Ideas He’s Stealing From Elizabeth "Spreading Bull" Warren!

(Pictures are of Native American wannabe Warren and Barry after falling for the “pull my finger” gag, again.)

No, really, in a speech Obama gave yesterday is nearly identical to what the speaks-with-forked-tongue Elizabeth Warren did last year.

Here’s what Warren said in August…..

“You built a factory out there? Good for you,” she says. “But I want to be clear: you moved your goods to market on the roads the rest of us paid for; you hired workers the rest of us paid to educate; you were safe in your factory because of police forces and fire forces that the rest of us paid for. You didn’t have to worry that marauding bands would come and seize everything at your factory, and hire someone to protect against this, because of the work the rest of us did.”

She continues: “Now look, you built a factory and it turned into something terrific, or a great idea? God bless. Keep a big hunk of it. But part of the underlying social contract is you take a hunk of that and pay forward for the next kid who comes along.”

Now, this demonstrates and incredible ignorance about who pays for what and where money comes from, but, we’ll get to that in a moment.  Let’s see what the prez said yesterday……

“If you were successful, somebody along the line gave you some help. There was a great teacher somewhere in your life. Somebody helped to create this unbelievable American system that we have that allowed you to thrive. Somebody invested in roads and bridges. If you’ve got a business, you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen,” he said. “The Internet didn’t get invented on its own. Government research created the Internet so that all the companies could make money off the Internet.”

Okay, seeing how these are the same arguments, we don’t have to address them one at a time.  These people are complete and utter imbeciles.  Where in the heck do they think the money for the roads, bridges, teachers, and even the internet research came from?

I’m not sure I can articulate this to where simpletons such as Warren and Obama can understand, but, I’ll give it my best shot and hopefully someone can dumb it down and send it to these people.

First of all, the government doesn’t accomplish anything without taxing.  Without taxation, there is no police force, fire dept, schools, teachers, military, or overpaid imbeciles sitting in our government seats and bureaucracies.  This is crucial to understand.  Without taxes none of that happens and none of those people have jobs.

So, who was taxed?  Employees, employers, and businesses.  Now we’re not counting government employees, because they don’t have jobs until someone else get’s taxed.  So, it is the private sector who gets taxed.  Where did these people get the money to be taxed?  Oh, by doing stuff.  The build things, they produce things, they farm, they harvest, they ranch, they mine, the refine, they ship, they invent, and they innovate.

So when jack wagons like Warren and Obama spew their silly nonsense about the roads, and police force and schools, we know all of this already, WE PAID FOR THE DAMNED THINGS!  These things happened because the populous, the private sector, wanted them to happen and THEY PAID FOR IT!  To suggest that successful people owe their success to government leaches because said leaches were so gracious as to act in the public interest at one time is truly a step towards a dystopian future.  Let me say another thing about successful business people and paying things forward.  They give people jobs!  Yeh, that’s right!  What clown thinks jobs just fall from the sky?  What sort of ass-clown thinks that success will just randomly happen to people?  That’s the biggest line of nonsensical crap he’s spewed to date!  If I still owned a business, I would move to have all other business owners, entrepreneurs, and self-employed people refrain for a week.  Just hang the gone fishing sign out and see what happens.  Of course they won’t, they’re too busy trying to keep hold of what they’ve earned and trying to grow what they’ve built that they can’t.

In this country, everyone has an equal shot.  So, if some are not successful, that’s because they did something wrong.  The ones who were and are successful is because they more often got it right.

If you’ve got a business, you didn’t build that.  Somebody else made that happen.

No, that’s not true.  I’ve never once had the occasion for someone come up to me and say, “Here’s a business for you!  Us at the government made it for you.  Have at it.”

Let’s review.  Employers, be it large or small, give people jobs.  Together with the self-employed, create revenue.  Governments tax these people.  They take our money and hire teachers, police, firemen, bureaucrats, the military, and so on.  They also spend our money on public works projects such as roads and bridges and what not.  None of this happens without first having successful people who create the wealth of this country.  I don’t know how to break it down any simpler.

While I can’t know for sure, because of the insanity the left has, but I think their backward way of thinking arises because they believe the populous exists for the government, when it is the government which exists for the people.

Now, right now, you don’t have to acknowledge or raise your hand or anything, but right now, any one who voted for Obama the first time around, I want you to slap yourself so hard that you knock yourself out of your chair.  DON’T YOU EVER HELP INFLICT THIS SORT OF IMBECLIC BUFFON ON THE PEOPLE OF THE U.S. AGAIN!

ROFLMAO! I wondering what I wanted to do with my life. I mean, I had no skills, no desire to work, and living in my parent’s basement. I just needed a break – something for free and no effort. Amazingly, somebody walked up to me on the street and said “I’ve got this successful business and I really don’t know what to do with it. Here, it’s all yours.” So I said “hey man, thanks, no really, thanks, you’re too generous.” And that is the story of how my business began. I’ve been an evil corporate owner ever since.

I am so amazed that anyone, let alone the leader of our nation, could even formulate a thought so incredibly out of touch with reality. What’s he smoking?

    • suyts says:

I just can’t believe he’s this stupid to utter this madness. What, did we hold a lottery for people to get businesses? Did, my notification get lost in the mail? The funny part of this is that he’s stealing a failed message. While it excites the lunatics, the rest of the country doesn’t want to hear this gibberish. It didn’t even go well in Massachusetts.

And the argument that someone else built the roads and whatnot……. we know who builds the roads, we know who pays for the teachers, we did!

      • HankH says:

It’s truly insulting to have worked 10 years to build a successful business, go without a paycheck during startup when cash-flow was lean, work long days to meet contract deadlines, expand to bring on 20 good and hard working employees and keep them employed thought this unmitigated disaster of an economy he helped create, and hear this jackwagon say somebody else did it. He’a a buffoon and too stupid to realize it.

        He’s a total [self snip].

Now, where did I put my Merlot…

      • suyts says:

Surely, all of those things you’re talking about, someone else did that for you…. right? Warren and Obama said so!

Yeh, I remember one particular rough time while I was running my bar and grill, I did the same thing. I ate, drank, and slept at it. I collected nothing for months. But, I paid the waitresses. Every time I thought I was getting ahead, something broke. Or something stupid would happen like road construction which detoured traffic away from my b&g.

        • HankH says:

I experienced the same thing. In 2008, I went six months without a paycheck just so I wouldn’t have to lay any employees off. I consider it an investment in the future because everyone that works in my company are great people. I know their wives and and their children. I get invited to graduations, school plays, and birthdays and I go to every one and give high fives and hugs. They’re family. The archeologist I mentioned in the last post is the son of one of my employees. He was raised right. His dad is an incredible man, whom I hold much respect for. The same can be said for all of my employees. They’re all hard working, family oriented, good folk.

It is a shame that we are demonized and this jackwagon snoot that has the gall to imply we got it handed to us.

You were right, this one would get my blood boiling. I hope his moronic comment had the same effect on others who have toiled for a living.

        • suyts says:

Yeh, I knew it would. The problem is, this message is well received by the incredibly ignorant. There is a lot of people out there who simply believe success happens by happenstance or that one had to have had extra help to get where they are. And, the worst part of all of this is that it damages the workers and harms the communities. Sure, we can do the class warfare and punish success. And so if we drive people like you out of business, we can put a notch on our belt…. or something. But, what about the 20 or so people each one of you employ? I guess Obama and Warren don’t really care about them either.

“If you’ve got a business, you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen.”

Makes you wonder – why would someone utter such a batsh$t crazy statement? There’ll be no votes from the business owners after this for him, with the exception of some rent-seeking green businesses.

  3. philjourdan says:

Actually, while I concede that your take could be accurate, I see a different spin. Obama has not shored up his base. the lunatic fringe of the left is not happy with Obama (he is not liberal enough for them) and this is just appealing to them. At this late date, that is not good. He should be appealing to the middle.

What Warren and Obama both fail to mention is that EVERYONE has access to the same infrastructure. Yet only a few utilize it to create wealth. So indeed, those who do, do it all on their own. The US just gives them the box. They fill it. But the government gives EVERYONE the same box.

    • suyts says:

Well, yes, there’s several different views one can take, and your thoughts about him shoring up the left is probably correct, but politically silly. If they’re not energized by now, they’re not going to get there.

      • philjourdan says:

I agree – the left is not energized, but nothing he does now is going to get them there. They will not vote for anyone else (see Nader comment), so they will either stay home or vote for him. He does not have to do a thing to get them.

That he is, indicates another of my contentions. So called “political geniuses” are none such. Axelrod is no better than Rove (or whomever McCain had). It is not the campaign architects that decide elections. It is, in the words of Bill Clinton, the Economy stupid.

  4. If you’ve got a blog, you didn’t build that – someone else made that happen. Please find out who’s responsible for your blog and thank him or her on my behalf.

    • suyts says:

Lol, no doubt. Stuff just magically appears on the blog pages. No effort or thought….. any one could do it, really.

I’m looking for the responsible party, but so far all I can find is that evil private sector company, “WordPress”.

      • “I’m looking for the responsible party” – millions of voters worldwide are looking for the “responsible party”, but they’re stuck with the political parties they know and (don’t) love.

  5. DERise says:

What I am worried about is that innovations are not making it to market because of government (somebody else) intervention, that new companies are not starting because of all of the regulations placed in the way by people “helping you”, that factory upgrades are not made because people are making us “safe”.
The American system did allow business to thrive. The current system, derived from decades of democrat mandates – democrat help, has choked production, expansion, and innovation. Until we get some of this “help” out of the way, recovery will be a pipe dream.

The government “Help” has been going on fr decades and it has been either promoted or condoned by both sides. I have watched government regulations have the opposite results from those they used to promote the enactment of the regulations for most of my life. No group wants to give up the power they have over others, so that power needs to be defunded by whoever takes office in the near future or we will only continue to slide towards a worse depression than the one in the late twenties and thirties.
This is like the fox deciding what regulations are needed to protect the hen house.

“If you’ve got a business, you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen.” -Obama

Mr Obama….contrary to some peoples belief – Government isn’t considered a business…A healthy Government is the “product” OF good business. You Sir, have it bassaskwards.

Ms Warren – Mr Obama….North Korea educates, builds roads, has a military, police force. It is paid for by the labor of serfs.

Ms Warren – Mr Obama when you speak such nonsense, it leaves me to wonder about your educations. Clearly, you’ve been taught “What to think” …not “How to think”. North Korea educates in the same manner.

Mr Obama…what is different in these two countries?

    http://climaterealistponderings.files.wordpress.com/2012/07/korean-night21.jpg

Mr Obama – why would you channel Ms Warrens thoughts …when she has been proven to hmmm obfuscate truths?

["Yet Warren, et al. claim their current results both show a dramatic increase, and are in robust agreement with their earlier study. How could steadily, moderately rising medical bills, a roughly static business and legislative environment, and a small increase in the uninsured, possibly have driven up bankruptcies so massively?

Answer: they didn't. What Warren et. al. neglect to mention is that bankruptcies fell between 2001 and 2007. In fact, they were cut in half. Going by the numbers Warren et. al. provide, medical bankruptcies actually fell by almost 220,000 between 2001 and 2007, a fact that they not only fail to mention, but deliberately obscure.'

Are Warren, et. al. unaware that bankruptcies fell by half? No bankruptcy analyst could possibly be unaware of this fact; it has been the most talked-about phenomenon in the bankruptcy area since the 2005 law was passed. Moreover, they're clearly familiar with the filings data, because they use it to make their point: "].

But “the one” thinks he did it by himself…
Obama, 2008 New Yorker, by Ryan Lizza
    BHO
“I know more about policies on any particular issue than my policy directors. And I’ll tell you right now that I’m gonna think I’m a better political director than my political director.” After Obama’s first debate with McCain, on September 26th, [campaign political director Patrick] Gaspard sent him an e-mail. “You are more clutch than Michael Jordan,” he wrote. Obama replied, “Just give me the ball.”

  11. David says:

“On November 9, 2009, Europe celebrated the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall. It was kind of a big deal.
When the leaders of Europe got together to commemorate it, he decided not to go to that, either. But he did find time to record a video message, which he graciously allowed the Europeans to air during the ceremony.
In his video, Obama ruminated for a few minutes on the grand events of the 20th century, the Cold War itself, and the great lesson we all should take from this historic passing:
“Few would have foreseen .  .  . that a united Germany would be led by a woman from Brandenburg or that their American ally would be led by a man of African descent. But human destiny is what human beings make of it.”

The fall of the Berlin Wall, the end of the Cold War, and the freedom of all humanity—it’s great stuff. Right up there with the election of Barack Obama.

In the presidential race in 2012. As he said to Harry Reid after the majority leader congratulated him on one particularly fine oration, “I have a gift, Harry.”

We once had a truly great President
When he accepted command of the Revolutionary forces, George Washington said “I feel great distress, from a consciousness that my abilities and military experience may not be equal to the extensive and important Trust. .  .  . I beg it may be remembered, by every Gentleman in the room, that I, this day, declare with the utmost sincerity, I do not think myself equal to the Command I am honored with.
