I just got through reading a Mother Jones article with more revelations of the superduper ultra-secret dealings of Mitt Romney’s investing.
It’s really a laughable read. The comment section is worse (better?). It’s a riot. Here’s my response in the comment section.

Do any of you finance wizards know what this means? Ladies, this is little different than a mutual fund. You know, that stuff you guys and gals are vested in on your 401k and retirement. Anyone critical of Romney for this and has a mutual fund which buys stock in foreign companies or companies with foreign holdings (which is 99% of the companies on the NYSE) is duplicitous and hypocritical and isn’t worth regarding concerning their opinions in the upcoming elections.
Even more hilarious though, is you twits don’t understand the implications of these stories. So, Romney ran not one, not two, but 3 separate multimillion dollar companies, to the point of very good success. Oh, in his spare time, he went and rescued a troubled Olympics.

Mitt is not a liar. The left is a bunch of imbeciles. Let me break this down for you…. Mitt worked and did. His wealth increased several fold. He decided that he’s worked enough for himself, so he moves to work for the public good….. the Olympics for example. As he does this, he doesn’t “cash out”, he “let’s it ride”. He’s not running Bain, he’s not running anything else other than the Olympics. He can’t run anything else. I’m at a loss as how to explain this to people who have no knowledge of such things. But, what I will say is that if you have a 401k, then you are as every bit as guilty as Romney. There is no lie. There’s simply simpletons who have never taken the time to understand what is happening and why.
But, better than this, even if you believe Romney is a liar, how does that square with Obama? I mean, his record as a senator is well documented. There is very little that child said as a senator or a campaigner which reconciles with what he does as a president. Be it assassinations or Gitmo, or taxes, or any thing else. Romney is a liar? Did you read the NY post’s explanation? Did you read the fact check? The SEC is under no delusion that someone listed as CEO has anything to do with running a company. That’s an imaginary thought contrived by the left. If the SEC thought they were misled, then they would have filed charges. This is my point. Ph, you don’t understand what the documents mean. Don’t feel bad, neither does our president. If the NY post and fact check’s explanation isn’t good enough for you go seek a SEC lawyer. They will confirm that a listing is meaningless. Paying yourself for ownership without day to day operations has been done for decades. Again, it is meaningless to the subject of discussion.
Ph, I used to own a bar and grill. I let someone else run it for me for a bit. They paid me for this to happen. I retained ownership, but I didn’t even step foot in the place more than once a month, and I never directed the managers on how to run things. I just went there to collect a small check. Romney did the same thing except on a larger scale. Yes, my name was one the liquor license until they got theirs. Yes, my name was one the health code license until they got their own. My name stayed on many documents, and I had to sign renewals, but I didn’t, and couldn’t according to contract, interfere with their business. I misled no one. And, neither did Romney.
YOu are at a loss all right. I have seen this symptom of gross ignorance before. A clueless wonder locked in the halls of academia with no conception of how the real world works. They puff out their chest with the medals of useless accomplishments on them, and then cannot understand why they plumbers do not kiss their ring fingers.

#1 – Romney HAD to be listed in the SEC filings after he left since he was the sole stockholder. Bain has said he left completely. Romney did not lie, OBama and you did.
#2 – Suyts did present the facts. His problem was in trolling Mother Jones. No one on that site wants to hear the truth. Just as you do not. Your fingers in your ear trick only serve to show everyone else your incompetence.
#3 – WaPo has a bipolar nature. In their news, they lie. Then they fact check OTHERS and basically call themselves a liar. They have done so. I guess you missed that part.

Filing documents is a requirement for all corporations. Breathing opens you up to “civil” actions. Anyone can file a civil action against anyone else. But without merit it is a waste of time, just as your ignorant post is. I could listen to the biggest shyster lawyer in the US and still be more informed than you. Absence of knowledge is not a merit badge, no matter how much you want to think it is.
