A Hilarious Demonstration Of Leftist Stupidity....... Voter ID Law

 

Well, voter ID laws are the rage to rage against if you’re a leftist.  They attack Republicans and accuse them of trying to block citizens from their ability to vote!  They say it’s racist, they say it’s evil, they say all sorts of bad things about the voter ID laws.

We should give just a bit of history and what these really are and then point and laugh at the leftists.

Years ago, some people had noted a disturbing trend among some voting precincts.  Some people were voting early and often!  Worse, some precincts had more votes than register voters!  They also noticed that we had very few barriers to prevent people who don’t have a right to vote from voting, illegal immigrants for instance. 

Of course, Dems said there’s no evidence of this.  Which of course, leads us right back to denying reality.  I’ve written a few posts about voter fraud perpetrated by Dems.  The total time researching these is about 15 minutes.  You can read evidence about voter fraud here, here, and here, or just search and you’ll see actual convictions and refusals to prosecute this crime against democracy. 

So, many came up with an entirely rational partial solution.  Have people present proper identification upon arriving at the voting booth.  Dems howl like someone smashed their thumb with a hammer at this thought.  They scream that not everyone has proper ID!  The cry that this unfairly discriminates against certain segments of our society.  And, in a way, it does.  It discriminates against criminals subverting democracy in this country.  While I don’t believe voter fraud should be a capital offense, I’m open to debate on the subject. 

Pennsylvania passed such a law.  Some half-wit did some looking and found that more than 758,000 registered voters in Pennsylvania have no driver’s license.  And, the Dems wet all over themselves over this meaningless statistic.  The driver’s license isn’t the only form of I.D. required to vote.  There are several others.  Plus, there’s nothing stating that the previous registered voters are legally registered.  I would look at it as effective legislation, some thing which is so rare today.  Now, I won’t dwell here because it has been well hashed already.  Identification is required to function in the U.S. today.  You can’t cash a check, you can’t open a bank account, you can’t buy anything on credit, in most places you can’t use a credit card without proper ID.  It is clear, if you don’t have any of these things, you’re not eligible to vote.  This is hilarious.  But, not as hilarious as this……

Voting rights activists have charged that voter ID laws disproportionately target students, minorities and elderly voters who tend to vote Democratic. Viviette Applewhite, 93, helped demonstrate the potential consequences earlier this year when she filed a lawsuit against the Keystone State’s new requirement, claiming she’d lost all forms of identification that she would need to get the proper voting documents.

Sooooo, she had documents, now she doesn’t.  She knows how to find and call a lawyer and go through the arduous process of filing suit, but, she can’t get any identification.  How hilariously stupid is this?  Do the Dems think no one is going to ask?  I mean, Viviette Applewhite (so she says) says she doesn’t have ID.  Did senility strike and she misplaced her purse?  Either she’s a complete imbecile and shouldn’t be voting, or, she’s lying.  I’m opting for the lying, else, some leftard raided a nursing home and found someone in a near vegetative state and helped her sign her name. 

I’m very curious as to how she’s going to prove she has standing in the court.  This only leaves me with this question.  Why do Democrats hate democracy?
