Yesterday, our friends in Rio carried on the fine leftist tradition of exploiting children for their cause.
On Wednesday, the first session of the high-level summit was addressed by 17-year-old activist Brittany Trilford of New Zealand, who challenged leaders: “Are you here to save face or are you here to save us?”
Isn’t this sweet? Think of the children!! It probably doesn’t occur to her that much of the opposition to the leftist takeover is with an eye on the future.
But, children have always been used by totalitarian leftists. Pol Pot’s Kimer Rouge made very effective use of the youth.
The regime recruited children to spy on adults. The pliancy of the younger generation made them, in the Angkar’s words, the “dictatorial instrument of the party.” In 1962 the communists had created a special secret organisation, the Democratic Youth League, that, in the early 1970s, changed its name to the Communist Youth League of Kampuchea. Pol Pot considered Youth League alumni as his most loyal and reliable supporters, and used them to gain control of the central and of the regional CPK apparatus.
Hardened young cadres, many little more than twelve years of age, were enthusiastic accomplices in some of the regime’s worst atrocities.
I’m really getting tired of seeing the world’s youth be exploited for leftist ideas. I think the world has seen enough of this madness to last us a few lifetimes.

The German Grüne Jugend (youth organisation of the Green party.) just made headlines by bringing out a bumper sticker “Patriotismus Nein Danke” “Patriotism – No thanks”.

And just so I don’t get misunderstood. Not to shoot any hapless Green. Just so that at least someone is able to defend this democracy. The Greens are obviously not inclined to do so.
I blame the idiot parents for traumatizing children to the extent they no longer can lead normal lives.
When this kid talks about her children and her childrens children. Me take on this is, she hasn’t figured it out yet, that if she gets her wishes, she most likely won’t be allowed to have children. Maybe a child but not children. And her thought of her grandchildren, Me guesses she didn’t look that far into it nether, or she isn’t too worried about it to begin with..
